A spread of Indian dishes.
It can be tough to find an authentic Indian restaurant that serves top-notch food, offers an upscale atmosphere and solid service. But if you happen to be in South Miami, check out Bombay Darbar Indian Restaurant. Though the area doesn’t boast a large Indian population, this restaurant offers traditional, yet diverse culinary flavors, with a variety of offerings. This trendy, modern setting features ultra-hip cocktails and mixology in the full-service bar that spans the length of this lavishly decorated restaurant.
Owners Anil Agrawal, Sunil Agrawal, and Solomon Hwang, saw potential to grow this brand after quickly becoming regulars at the restaurant. Hwang had successfully operated multiple restaurants in the greater New York area and has over 20 years of experience as being a restaurant owner. Together, they provide the backing and expertise to run the two Bombay Darbar locations in a smooth fashion.

Established in 2011, Bombay Darbar upped the ante by opening a second location in 2019, in the trendy corridor of Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. What followed was a mix of loyal customers and newcomers alike flocking to their latest location.
Setting Bombay Darbar apart from other Indian restaurants is its operating style that combines culinary authenticity and attentive service. There is simply no better way to impress clients and business associates than lunch at Bombay Darbar, or to dazzle your date on a Friday night dinner in Bombay’s hip and energetic ambiance.
General Manager Derek Werynski points out that during weekdays, tables are often filled with business meetings thanks to the restaurant’s quick service and Thali Lunch Special which offer multi-portion entrees with robust flavors.
“Bombay Darbar is such a unique restaurant from its flavors, to the ambiance,” he continues. “If you come to join us on a weekend you can feel the energy in the air, and I can guaranty you will have the most unforgettable dining experience. But don’t take my word for it, just check customers’ reviews on Google or Yelp.”

“Bombay Darbar Restaurant represents a dynamic mix of cultural and culinary backgrounds to bring you an impeccable and delicious dining experience in both our Coconut Grove and Las Olas restaurants,” state the owners. “Our goal is to bring genuine and authentic Indian Cuisine with an eye for upscale and energetic décor to the South Florida dining scene. We accomplish this with four key ingredients: great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great price.”
Fruitful plans are in the works to open more locations in South Florida in 2021, and beyond, proving their success and sheer public popularity. The four key ingredients to the success of Bombay Dabar will always remain at the forefront of its business model. The goal? To become the premier Indian Restaurant in all of Florida, and beyond.
