By India Today Web Desk: As the Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Makhtal in the Narayanpet district of Telangana after a 3-day Diwali break, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi played a dhol with local artists on Thursday.
This is the 50th day of the Yatra. He is expected to interact with the farmers today.

“After a 3-day break for Diwali and Kharge-ji’s taking over, Bharat Jodo Yatra will resume at 6 am tomorrow [Thursday] from Makhtal in Narayanpet district of Telangana. Farmer interactions will take place at 2pm, as always. Bharat Yatris including @RahulGandhi are refreshed and eager to restart,” tweeted Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday.

So far, Bharat Jodo Yatra has covered 1,230 km, covering 18 districts in four states – Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The yatra will cover eight districts in 11 days in Telangana before entering Maharashtra via Nanded.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
