The CAI is an Adobe-led initiative with more than 800 partners working to increase trust online. CAI’s open-source technology enables creators to securely attach provence data to digital content. It ensures that creators receive the required credit for their work and that those who view a piece of content understand who made it and how it was created and edited.
From the launch of Photoshop to the rise of 3D, Adobe has a long history of leading the creative community through technological transformations. Adobe is committed to helping lead this transition by implementing Generative AI in their design, in a way that empowers artists and opens the creative space to new people. However, it never seeks to replace human judgment and imagination.
Adobe is taking a step by investing its research and product design talent to formulate an approach that revolves around the needs of creatives by integrating Generative AI in Adobe creative tools.
The research is still at a nascent stage. According to Adobe, AI within Photoshops generates rich, editable PSDs. The AI can generate a dozen different approaches, and the creator and pick two or three they want to explore using Photoshop’s full selection of tools to transform the AI-generated image based on the artist’s creative perspective.
Generative AI in Adobe Express will aid inexperienced creators in achieving their unique goals. For example, rather than having to find a pre-made template to start a project, the users could generate a template through a prompt and leverage Generative AI to add an object to the scene or create a unique test effect based on their description.
The artist will still have full control. They can use all of the Adobe Express tools for editing images, changing solos and adding fonts to create the flyer, poster or social media post they imagine.
According to Adobe researchers, Generative AI is a hyper-competent creative assistant that can multiply what creators can achieve by presenting new images and alternative approaches without losing the essence of human imagination.
Adobe expects to maintain its history of leadership in the development of responsible AI. They have spent years devising standards for how to responsible develop AI, and all the features they have launched at this year’s Adobe Max have been evaluated to ensure they meet those standards.
